![]() Back to Our Team | JULIANA BASILONEJuliana’s love for dance sparked at a young age, and from the moment she stepped into a studio, she knew it would be a lifelong passion. She began her journey at ShowBiz Performing Arts Studio in 2013, immersing herself in all styles, including jazz, ballet, tap, musical theatre, and contemporary. From the very start, she thrived on stage, embracing every opportunity to perform, learn, and grow. Her natural leadership and love for teaching became evident early on when she began assisting instructors across various styles and age groups. Through this experience, Juliana developed a deep passion for guiding young dancers, helping them refine their technique, build confidence, and discover the joy of performing. In 2019, she stepped into her first official teaching role with Tiny Tap and instantly knew she had found her calling. Eager to expand her expertise, Juliana incorporated Comdance examination teaching into her syllabus in 2020. She has since dedicated herself to preparing students for their exams while also helping them shine in the annual ShowBiz Concert. In 2021, she completed her Comdance Major Advanced Ballet Exam and Comdance Advanced Gold Star Tap Exam, marking the culmination of her own student training as she now works towards earning her teaching certificates. Beyond the classroom, Juliana’s passion for performing has taken her to some of Melbourne’s biggest stages, including the Moomba Parade, Melbourne Royal Show, and Performing Hearts Collective, as well as various charitable events. She is a firm believer in the power of dance to inspire, uplift, and connect communities. Juliana is the embodiment of what ShowBiz Performing Arts Studio represents—a homegrown, dedicated, and caring individual who understands the unique needs of her students. She leads with heart, always striving to bring out the best in each dancer, and fostering a love for the arts that will last a lifetime. With an unwavering passion for both performing and teaching, Juliana is excited to continue shaping the next generation of artists, sharing her knowledge, experience, and deep love for dance with every student she meets. |
