JULIANA BASILONE

Juliana started dancing at a very young age and has had a passion for it ever since. She began her dance journey at ShowBiz Performing Arts Studio in 2013 taking classes in all styles, including Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre and Contemporary. In her early years at ShowBiz, Juliana began assisting teachers in diverse classes of varying styles and age groups. Juliana very quickly developed a passion for sharing her knowledge of performing and instructing younger students about the correct technique of dance through this assistant teaching, hence continuing to assist for the years to come.

In 2019, Juliana began teaching her first class, Tiny Tap, and intuitively knew that this was where she was meant to be. Juliana has expanded on her teaching experience adding Comdance examination teaching to her syllabus 2020. Juliana continues to teach these classes, preparing her students for their exams as well as the annual ShowBiz Concert.

Juliana, still a student herself, also prepares to complete her Comdance Major Intermediate Ballet Exam, and her Comdance Advanced Gold Bar Tap Exam. She continues her studies in all styles of dancing, is part of the Elite Dancer Program at ShowBiz, and thoroughly enjoys all her classes.

Juliana is the embodiment of what ShowBiz represents. A homegrown, dedicated, caring individual who understands the unique needs of her students and always strives to bring out the best in each and every pupil.

With an absolute adoration for dancing and shaping the future generations of The Arts, Juliana looks forward to continuing her journey as both a performer and teacher, sharing her knowledge gained through years of training and performing.
