DANCESTEP Assistant Teaching Program
At ShowBiz Performing Arts Studios we are very excited to announce we are now a registered affiliate studio and member of the DanceStep program (assistant teaching education program). Offered in partnership with studio teachers, DanceStep empowers students to take care of others and guides them to be leaders and role models. The 4 level program covers assistant teaching skills such as behaviour management, different learning needs and styles, Safe Dance Principles and Anatomy just to name a few. These concepts are broken down to be taught in a sequential and age appropriate way. Whether students are considering a career in dance teaching or otherwise, the DanceStep program is a great preparation for many aspects of life.

| All DanceStep Assistant teachers will receive our Assistant Teacher T-Shirt, and are required to wear this whilst assisting. This will allow them to be easily identified and valued as a teacher within our Showbiz family. Students will learn how to become responsible young adults, show quality leadership skills, understand our studio core values, policies and classroom procedures, and understand the importance of safe dance practices.
